Was ist der Unterschied zwischen IP-Schutzklasse und Fallschutz bei einem MDE-Gerät?
Die IP-Schutzklasse (z. B. IP65, IP67) beschreibt den Schutz gegen Staub und Wasser. Der Fallschutz wird separat über den MIL-STD-810-Standard definiert und gibt an, aus welcher Höhe ein Gerät einen Sturz auf Beton unbeschadet übersteht. Ein hoher IP-Wert sagt also nichts über die Sturzfestigkeit aus – beide Werte müssen einzeln geprüft werden.
Welche MDE-Geräteklasse passt zu meinem Anwendungsfall – Entry-Level, Professional oder High-End?
Entry-Level eignet sich für einfache Scan-Aufgaben ohne Schichtbetrieb, etwa im Einzelhandel oder Büro. Was ist ein DPM-Scanner und wann brauche ich ihn?
DPM steht für Direct Part Marking und bezeichnet Barcodes, die direkt ins Material eingraviert, geätzt oder gelasert sind statt aufgedruckt.
